"Leadership is one of the most observed and least understood phenomena on Earth." -J.M. Burns
Leadership is hard, but it doesn't have to be.
Anyone who has ever led anyone -- whether it's a team, a classroom, or an organization -- knows that leadership requires both confidence and competence and a healthy dose of resilience.
A Grade Level Chair said it this way: "No one prepares you for what it takes to lead. I used to think of leadership in a nebulous way, believing that my skills were static." The reality is that leaders are made, not born.
Most of us weren't given a training manual or a one-on-one coach to help us do it right. At Proof, we strip away the complexity and train leaders in the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to lead people, not projects or programs. We take high-performers -- technical experts in many cases -- and add on a layer of expertise in leading people to help them transform their work.
Our end-game is a thriving social sector.
We provide training that has depth and is dynamic and highly engaging. Take a look around the site and let us know how we can serve you.

Hi! I'm Dustin.
I launched Proof Leadership to develop leaders in the social sector on a wider scale.
I'm the former Director of Leadership Development at YES Prep Public Schools and creator of the Leading Excellence program, a 2-year leadership fellowship with proven results. Prior to YES, I taught leadership development at Rice University and the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.
I'm also the author of Reset: How to Get Paid and Love What You Do.
From our clients:
"I've been running a lab and managing people for years, but it wasn't until I began working with Dustin Peterson that I was able to create the high-trust, high-productivity culture that I wanted. No exaggeration: he's the best facilitator and counselor in this area I've ever met. I recommend his services without reservation."
