LEAD YOUR SCHOOL IN A WAY THAT GETS RESULTS FOR KIDS, RETAINS HIGH-PERFORMERS, AND BUILDS CULTURE.
What if you could identify and develop the most essential
skills and mindsets you need to lead for transformation?
Why B.O.L.T.?
School leaders are tasked with making a transformative
impact in the lives of their students. Achieving that impact requires highly-skilled
leadership from the top as well as from every member of the campus team.
Yet, leaders are often so busy putting out fires and running their team that they don’t have the time or resources to develop their leadership. In addition, most leaders don’t receive the development and training they need from the outset and the result can create unnecessary drains on their time and energy as they “build the plane while flying it.” |
B.O.L.T. is specifically designed for school leaders.
The best investment you can make as a leader is in yourself. In fact, the quality of leadership in an organization seldom exceeds that of the person at the top (Zenger & Folkman, The Extradordinary Leader). The purpose of B.O.L.T. is to create the time and space to:
- Develop your leadership skills, including self-awareness, developing individuals, leading a team, and planning for transformative impact.
- Renew your emotional energy through reflection and mindfulness.
- Connect with other colleagues engaged in the work to build a network of like-minded peers.
- Create a clear path forward through planning the highest-impact actions you can take in the next 90 days.
- Become more of your authentic self in your leadership.
What You'll Do
B.O.L.T. is designed to train you in the most essential mindsets and skills you need to effectively lead people. These include:
By its nature, B.O.L.T. is highly experiential. You will have opportunities to push your thinking through teambuilding, simulations, case studies, role-play, group discussion, and presentations. You will also have the opportunity for one-on-one coaching from a B.O.L.T. facilitator. Some pre-work and pre-reading will be required to prepare you to maximize the experience. Through the experiences you'll have in B.O.L.T. training you'll challenge your mindsets, develop and practice new skills, and create a plan to immediately implement what you learned to increase your impact and improve results. |
What You GetB.O.L.T. is a five-day immersion experience for school leaders who want to create true transformation in the lives of their students. It cuts through the glut of leadership literature to give you what you most need to lead true transformation.
We’ve taken the best content and groundbreaking leadership training from more than two decades of leadership in education, tested at places like YES Prep Public Schools and Teach for America, and condensed it into a four-day, immersive training for high-impact leaders. B.O.L.T. includes:
